Sturridge pulled up after scoring a stunning goal against Bayern Munich in Liverpool's Audi Cup victory over the Bundesliga giants at the Allianz Arena.

Daniel Sturridge isn't overly concerned about the injury he picked up as Liverpool defeated Bayern Munich 3-0 in the Audi Cup on Tuesday.

"He has prepared really well and I just hope it's only a small injury and he can play again soon", the German said.

Klopp enthused that Mané and Salah are "both good with Philippe Coutinho behind to play all the passes for them to run in behind" but insisted "they don't need to know it all the time".

Having also won against Tranmere Rovers, Crystal Palace, Leicester City and Hertha Berlin this summer, Liverpool will be looking to continue a positive pre-season.

"I can understand that Coutinho is so highly rated, but they can save their energy", he told a news conference on Tuesday.

Inter are reportedly preparing a £35 million bid for the Liverpool star.

Then, in the 34th minute, Mané bamboozled Javi Martinez with a drag-back that let in Alberto Moreno, and after Ulreich parried his shot, Salah nodded in the rebound.

The 27-year-old is said to be keen on a move to Stamford Bridge but Chelsea are refusing to pay Leicester any more than £30m for the midfielder.

Earlier this month, the club rejected a £72-million (S$128.5m) bid for the Brazil international, but that does not appear to have deterred the La Liga club, with speculation growing they will return with an improved offer.

The odds follow on from a report from German newspaper Bild in July claiming that Jurgen Klopp was eager to sign the experienced attacker.

"We've done triple sessions".

Watford away is where Liverpool will begin their Premier League season in 10 day's time.
